East Tour is a Ukrainian travel agency owned by Galina Pavliukova and based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The company was founded in 2018 and works closely with East Tour in Denmark, which is responsible for developing our travel programs.
The daily manager is Olesia, who is a trained lawyer. Olesia speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English, and some Swedish. She handles all contact with our local partners in Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, and Transnistria, and she also acts as a tour leader on some of our trips.
The person most guests will be in contact with is Jesper. He handles bookings and serves as the link between our guests and the office in Kyiv. Jesper has travelled extensively around the world, but for the past 20 years he has mainly travelled throughout Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine by car, which means he knows even the most unusual places. Jesper is also a tour leader on our trips.
In addition, we have Daria (Dasha), who assists with our tours. Dasha is our all-rounder and takes care of everything the others do not have time for. She speaks Russian, Ukrainian, and English.
Because we tailor your trip so you get a journey that fits your needs perfectly. We know that everyone is different and has different expectations when travelling.
All hotels and restaurants we recommend have been personally visited by us, and we have confirmed that they deliver a standard we can stand behind. This does not mean we cannot book other places for you, as we do not receive payments or other benefits from the places we recommend.
We offer hundreds of different experiences to choose from, ranging from monastery tours and classic sightseeing to more distinctive experiences such as shooting ranges, tank driving, and visits to Chernobyl.
We also organise corporate trips, tailored to match what your company works with in your country.
I’ve already traveled with East Tour three times, and every trip has been a great experience. Their guides are genuinely skilled at tailoring each journey to match the group’s specific wishes and needs. That makes the trips both personal and flexible, something you rarely see with larger travel companies.
If you’re considering travel to Moldova and Transnistria, I can confidently recommend East Tour. Their flexibility really stands out, and even after the trip has started, the program can often be adjusted. Activities can be added or removed along the way, so you get exactly the experience you’re looking for.
I’m planning to travel with East Tour again in September, and there’s no doubt it will be another top-class experience. If you’re looking for strong destinations and trips built around your interests, East Tour is the right choice.
In 2018, we went on an unforgettable men’s trip to Romania with East Tour, and it was nothing short of outstanding. We were picked up directly at the airport in a limousine and driven to our hotel. From the very first moment, the tone was set for what turned out to be a high-energy and well-planned trip.
The program was packed with action and experiences that kept the adrenaline flowing. We tried 9 mm pistol shooting, where precision and competition quickly raised the pulse. That was followed by ATV riding through hilly terrain and archery, which really put our skills to the test.
For those with an interest in history and architecture, we also enjoyed an impressive guided tour of the presidential palace and several stunning castles. Along the way, we were taken through stories filled with intrigue, atmosphere, and historical depth.
The clear highlight was the visit to what is believed to be Dracula’s home. Here, myth and reality blended into a powerful and atmospheric experience. Our tour leader was excellent. Knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about both Romania and his work. That made the entire journey even stronger and left us with memories that still stand out.
If you’re looking for an action-packed men’s trip to Romania, we can wholeheartedly recommend East Tour. It’s an experience you won’t forget anytime soon.
