General Terms and Conditions

Conditions for registration and payment:

Once you have registered and booked a trip and subsequently received a confirmation, payment for the hotel and activity booking fees is due. As a general rule, this amounts to 50% of the total trip price, with a minimum of DKK 1,500 per person. If the deposit is not paid on time, the agreement becomes void.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before departure for trips to Ukraine, and 35 days before departure for other destinations.

Payment is made by bank transfer to East Tour’s account at PrivatBank. The transfer must be made in euros. PrivatBank is Ukraine’s largest bank.

The Danish price is converted according to the official Danish National Bank exchange rate on the day the transfer is made.

Entry requirements:
Please remember to bring a valid passport and any required medical certificates, the European Health Insurance Card (blue card), travel insurance, and any cancellation insurance. The European Health Insurance Card is valid in Romania; for other countries, separate travel insurance must be taken out.

We are also happy to assist you in finding suitable insurance.

Customer obligations:

  • It is your responsibility to bring a valid passport

  • It is your responsibility to obtain and bring any required visas and vaccinations

  • It is your responsibility to check your personal details (name, passport number and expiry date, travel documents, etc.), as the travel agency accepts no liability

  • It is your responsibility to bring both the yellow and blue health insurance cards

Cancellation/annulment/change conditions:
In the event of cancellation from confirmation up to 60 days before departure, the deposit is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation 28 days (35 days for trips to destinations other than Ukraine) or less before departure, 100% of the trip price will be charged.

No-show:
If you fail to show up, bring an invalid passport, or similar, there is no possibility of joining the trip.

Cancellation by the organiser:
In cases such as insufficient registrations, we reserve the right to cancel a trip. In such cases, an equivalent trip will be offered, or the amount paid will be refunded.

Other conditions:
We reserve the right to make changes to itineraries, dates, prices, etc., if necessary.

Transfer of the trip:
Transfer of the booking to another person is not possible without prior agreement.

Violation of local law:
If a guest violates local legislation, any agreement entered into with East Tour will terminate immediately, and we are not obliged to assist in facilitating contact with your authorities.
